Its our second time to pass by Kalbario Patapat Nature Park last 31 March 2015. We were en route to Pagudpud from Cagayan. After traversing through the mountains & coastlines of Cagayan, the nature park - the first attraction of Pagudpud from Ilocos Norte's marker was refreshing. Maharlika highway zigzags through the park via a "tunnel " formed by entagled... More

The area is so refreshing to look at. The water is so cool! You can have your pictures taken on the rocks and you can also go up to the grotto. The place is clean. You can also buy souvenirs nearby.

the waterfalls was just amazing to look at coming (residing) from a very busy city with loads of traffic. this place was just serene and i could have stayed all day just staring at it.. we tasted the water too and it's really fresh and cold.. saves you from buying overpriced mineral water.. :) would definitely recommend..

If you feel stressed and want to get away from it all, just stand by the edge of this viaduct. You'll find yourself staring at the waves crashing against the rocks at the bottom as the winds try blowing you off to the edge of bliss.

Nothing much to see but a grotto and they say a flow of "miracle" water. It's nice to cool-off in this shaded area of the mountain. There are a few vendors selling chi-chiria and some souvenir items.

The water is cold and according to them, the water is safe to drink. The place is a known stop over place for the buses originating from Tacloban(?) on its way to Laoag or other parts of Luzon.

There is a grotto and some natural springs from the mountain which is really cool and maybe safe to drink (but I'm not really sure, though most visitors and locals are actually drinking from it.) According to some Pagudpud tourist information, you can do birdwatching here but I think to do that, you have to stay and do some trekking... More
