We were staying at the Three Rivers campsite and used the Ferry to take us from Beccles to Geldeston Lock, Trip is approx 45 minutes and you book by calling ahead. The Scenery is lovely and well worth the trip.

Cycled to Beccles and bought a return ticket. What a delight. So relaxing and calming. The skipper was very good offering advice on local pubs and farm shops. We sneaked a quick pint at Locks Inn before the return to Beccles. Money well spent.

The majority of patrons travel from Beccles to Geldeston, but we decided to do it in the opposite direction, as it is easier to leave a car there all day, rather than in Beccles ! The boat only carries about ten passengers maximum, but the...More
