I was travelling from Ambato to Quisapincha because I had been recommended that there were stored selling crafts and original leather products. But over the way of the trip I saw this park so I decided to stop. It's an enormously cozy and authentic park of Ambato, with natural viewers toward the city and nearby plantations, it's climate was fresh... More

One place that I thought was great and relaxing is the Family Park, which is located in the sector of Palama, on the Ambato road. This park is very big and in its surroundings you can see beautiful vegetation. It has recreational games, bars, coffee shops, meeting rooms and guests can camp or picnic. Children, youth and adults as well... More

We were curious about visiting this place with my wife. We went with our pet to visit (since we figured it's a park) first surprise, no pets allowed, and we have traveled from Quito for this... well, then we entered and wanted to leave our pet somewhere near a shadow in the parking... and surprise # 2 you have to... really close to the city, riding a bus going to the top of the hills, is located this park with a perfect view of Ambato and the 3 volcanoes, tungurahua, carihuayrazo and chimborazo, nice place for relax an clean your lungs, also can visit a typical animal and vegetable farm with many fruits and vegetables from ecuador

My family loves this park, especially my children. They enjoy the play equipment, the ponds with fish, the animals, and the view of Ambato below. It is a very clean park. On the weekends they have crafters set up in a small area selling handmade items and food. If you go on a clear day, you can get a wonderful... More

It might not be the easiest place to get to but with a taxi it should be around $4 or if you can figure out the local buses around 0.35c. I would advise against walking there as it is all road and often busy with trucks and buses also very steep uphill!. Once there there is an information centre with... More

Nice for walking about and a picnic. Be sure to see the little lake at the top of the mountain with a large provincial flag flying and great views of the city.
