Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really cool to combine this with Old Biscuit Mill for some great shopping opportunities. If I lived in Cape Town I could have bought so much for my house! Worth a visit for gifts (for others or yourself)

I stayed at the Stockexchange Hotel (part of The Woodstock Exchange development) on a business trip for four nights and found it excellent value for money. The check-in was quick and professional (someone comes to fetch you from the reception area on the ground floor to take you to the hotel on the 4th floor).
I loved my beautifully designed room that was kitted out with furniture and other items from design shops in this trendy suburb. It was especially impressed by the lamp shades from the Cape Town Society for the Blind. Most rooms have a kitchen and it was very convenient to have a Spar supermarket on the ground floor.
There are apartments on the other floors, which meant that the hotel had a more homey feel.

The Woodstock Exchange at 66 Albert Road is an oasis - filled with eateries, coffee shops and delightful stores. For example an 'honest' chocolate maker - all dark chocolate - and a manufacturer of leather goods. You are able to observe the artisans creating their goods and their love for their craft.
It also houses the Broadband Barn on 5 floors - start-ups, entrepreneurs and innovators in a co-working environment.
