We paid IDR 100'000 to enter and have a 10-15 min to the lake side. As it was morning, it was far too cold to go swimming, path wasn't clean, lots of rubbish around. Not worth a visit

100.000 is way to expensive! We didn't do that. On the way to the lake you will find a big wall. A great view over the lake for free!

On the road from Bajawa to Ruteng visit this beautifull lake. You need a small portion of luck when arriving. When the lake is covered in a fog there is not much to see. I could imagine that this will be disappointed. But if the...More

A nice enough lake but the 100k entrance fee is outrageous. Generally speaking, local/foreigner pricing tiers are understandable but needs to be kept within reason. Could do with some litter-picking.

This makes a nice trip out of town. The road from Ruteng is beautiful. It cost us $400000 for four of us to see the lake which is ridiculous for Indonesia. I would expect 10 times less! The lake is pretty but essentially nothing special....More

From the mouton you should have a nice view on the lake. However, the made a huge concrete wall. Behind the wall as could be expected is a mess of plastic and stinking garbage.
