What an experience to see how a historic Mill operated in the good old days. Beautiful sandstone building on the river. Loved the time spent there with information readily given.

One of the only operating Mills in North America, you can buy bread made from the stone ground flour! The Ghost story has been told before, but is best heard here in person.

Manotick is a beautiful little town and the Mill the jewel of Manotick. While the Mill doesn't offer much to do, views are excellent and the Mill well preserved. I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

Had a super afternoon touring the mill, museum and vendors. Did some shopping and stopped for a glass of wine. Sure wish someone carried a little more variety of Merlot.
