Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From the top, the view across Verucchio is beautiful! Widespread landscape with delightful colours and buildings from long ago. And the castle itself is worth the climb.

Verucchio is a beautiful, small, historic Italian city with ancient roots and fantastic food. The Fortress/Castle and the Archaeological Museum were highlights for my 10-year-old son and myself.

From the top of the castle you can see Rimini and the sea. The self guided tour hand out is only in Italian. But the nice gentleman at the ticket counter explained enough about the castle on the paper so we would known what we were looking at. During World War two it housed refugees from Rimini. Not bad for a structure started in the 13th century.

We enjoyed a beautiful walk up to Rocco Verucchio. It was a beautiful walk up the hill and the views are just incredible. It's a must do when you are in Verucchio.

I love Verucchio as a town and the Malatesta Castle never disappoints. Go for the terrific views back towards the sea and up the Valle Marecchia. Good value too.
