A typical forest feel. No birds but a must visit experience. The place should be visited in the morning for a perfect experience.

It was unclean and we did not see much birds, if you decided to go there you should wear long sleeves and trousers because of lots of mosquito and ants

Kumarakon is situated in god's own country ofcourse in kerala. Whole Kerala refreshes you but here in kumarakom this bird sanctuary cheat with you. Here they give you the entry pass of Rs. something and tell you to walk for a 2kms in a jungle...More
