Had a lovely one hour trek up a near by mountain, horses were really well behaved. We were on lead reign, attached to Conny and my daughter to Erica as we are beginners. We stopped at the top and took some pictures, then made our way back down. A very relaxing ride. Next time we will come back and do a longer ride as it was so lovely. Thanks for a great ride!…

What an amazing experience from start to finish - Conny and her intern were really helpful and friendly, and made us feel comfortable even though we were complete beginners. The view was beautiful and the horses well behaved. During this pandemic, Conny was either distanced from us or wore a mask :)…

We had a fantastic evening ride with Conny and the team last year. Despite our party arriving late due to transportation mechanical problems, Conny was gracious and accommodating. Our party’s expertise ranged from the novice to those with some degree of experience and we were provided with horses which fitted our experience well. Our ride took us up into the hills with some superb views over Sami and the surrounding countryside. Everyone really enjoyed the ride; All in on all a great riding experience. Would definitely recommend. …

The first impression of the stable was quite good it seemed to be clean and harmonious. BUT NO, the person who helped me with my horse was a volunteer which told me under what circumstances they are working and this was not okay, and because the person didn’t want to make this public i will do it instead to warn future volunteers! I was told that they need to shower with their clothes on because they don’t get a washing Mashine for their clothes from the owner, also the promised daily riding lessons are not continuously taking place bc they are working more than they thought. There were a lot of other story’s which I was told but I just want to let other people who are planning to volunteer there know what’s going on.…

Dear Anna Huber, I’m very open for feedback, it doesn’t matter if positive or negative. Positive feedback makes of course me and my Team happy, negative feedback gives space & inspiration for improvement and of course we always want to improve. Your “feedback” is not a feedback as a customer, experiencing the stable, but unfortunately a comment based on rumours without the effort to verify its validity, posted about 8 months after your supposed experience. Checking my records I didn’t have an Anna Huber as a customer at my stable in September 2019 and further I had 3 volunteers in this month, with all I had a good relationship. Two actually want to return. This is a bit confusing. Of course I can contact TripAdvisor to remove your comment with evidences based on slander, however I decided to put things right instead and leave this comment although the one star is influence my rating. First of all for me it’s very important that the volunteers have a good experience here. Most of them are quite young and it’s their first time abroad, so the home & security feeling is essential. All my volunteers receive training in medical care, horse husbandry, horse care, saddle care, organization in (tourist) riding and train riding, further training of horses and fittings. In addition, they receive riding lessons from September to mid-June and in the high season only if the time permits, which is not predictable. My volunteers know this beforehand. Of course in high season the agreed working hours can be exceeded, but I always pay them – definitely no exploitation. I’m happy to say quite a couple of my volunteers received very good jobs in the horse sector after their internship in my company. I offer to all volunteers to collect their very dirty clothes and then I wash them in the washing machine. Further there is a washing saloon very close by, which is also affordable and of course I provide them also with bowls for handwashing. So no need for such a ridiculous practice washing: showering with clothes on. Further I’m never reluctant to give contact details of former volunteers to upcoming ones, pre-assumed they allow it, so experiences can be shared. Dear Anna Huber, slander is not a small thing, so maybe in future think twice and check before spreading. Thank You! Conny (owner)
