Great value tour - recommend this company!

A great introduction to the island of Odysseus. Vanna, our guide, was very informative and passionate about her island and it's hero, exciting all the tales as George guided us through the twisty bends. Amazing scenery, even more dramatic than Kefalonia. Kioni was lovely but would have liked a bit less time there and more at Stavros. There are a couple of small Homeric museums worth seeing that were overlooked. All considered, another great tour from Avgerinos. I found you can book direct from their website and save a few Euros!

Great day out

I found this trip to be great value to see three highlights of the island in one day. There was enough time to enjoy each stop including the swim at Myrtos. Stacy was fun and informative and George the driver kept us on track on those tight bends. Don't miss the lemonade with honey and mint at Assos 😛

We picked up early from Lassi at 7am prompt and we were greeted by Vanna our guide and Georgio our amazing driving. From the start we new we had picked the best trip to go with. We were welcomed straight away by both our guides and popped straight into our seats and our tour started with information delivered with excellent local knowledge but mostly humour too by passionate Vanna's enthusiasm as we went on our way to the ferry boat in Sami. Our cruise over to Ithaca was smooth and the ferry boat had fab coffee and excellent toilet facilities on board !!! Vanna and and Georgio were on hand answering our questions from everyone, as soon as we arrived on the island and the proper tour started OMG tight vertical turns almost, executed beautifully by an excellent driver clearly with lots of experience and along with Vanna's tales of the mystical island it's history and it's beauty we were taken back in time what a fab experience and a great day out I would recommend Avgerinos Tours definitely especially as the other tour operators held Vanna and Georgio in such high esteemed.

Unforgettable experience and a great way to explore some of the island!!

I cannot recommend this company/tour enough!! I'm just back from my first ever trip to Kefalonia and as a solo traveller I decided a guided tour was the best option for me - The Kefalonia North tour was incredible and a perfect way to explore some of the beauty the island has to offer without having to worry about renting a car or finding your own way. The tour guide Vanna was excellent and shared her passion and love for the island through her commentary on the bus, but not so much so that it distracted from enjoying the scenery. She also offered some great recommendations for how to make the most of the places visited and couldn't do enough to help people out. Also a big thanks to George (uncertain if that's the correct spelling) for his expert navigation of the mountainous roads, which I personally would never have wanted to attempt!

You won't regret joining one of these tours.

Booking process was simple online and the company were also easily contactable and responsive by email.

This trip was amazing thanks to our lovely tour guide Avanni. She was a beautiful person, very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. The sights we saw were amazing -:a wonderful day.

We did the tour from Lassi (pick up) to Myrtos Beach, Fiskardo and Assos. Amazing! The highlight was definitely Myrtos Beach because we were able to swim and the view is breathtaking. Clear water! Our guide Daisy and the driver George were friendly and professional. Safe driving. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Discovering itaca with Vanna was an absolute pleasure. The whole excursion was very well organised and Vanna gave us lots of details about the island, the history and much more.
It's a lovely alternative to a boat tour and an occasion to explore the island itself from inside.
Vanna is a professional, friendly and unique guide.
Absolutely recommended.

Ithaca, amazing

This was a fantastic trip, perfectly organised and well looked after by our tour guide, who was very knowledgeable.
Ithaca is stunning and the stops we made were perfect.
We learned a lot about the history of the island and Odysseus, very informative and interesting.
Great food in the village we stopped for lunch and a swim in the sea to cool off!
My only comment would be perhaps have some water on the bad as it got very, very hot.
A great trip and we’ll worth it!
