Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This 16th century osque has had the modern city build up around it. It is rather small. The exterior stonework is appealing. You can enter if you take your shoes off. The great Ottoman architect Sinan designed it during the reign of Sulieman the Magnificent.

This cute Mosque is centrally located, on the main Vlore sq, few steps from the imposing Independence monument.
It's a nice small stone Mosque, built in 1542 by the same architect who built the grandiose Suleymani Mosque in Istanbul.
During our visit it was closed, so cannot comment the interior.

Close to main sights and historic core of the city, Muradie Mosque is worth a few mins of anyone's time (not least to escape the thunderstorms). Across the road House of Ismail Bej Vlora, This tiny Mosque is an erstwhile reminder of Albanians complicated history with Turkey.

The imam came to tell us about the history of the mosque and the people who worshipped there. The architect of this mosque was Sinan who also designed the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.

Perfectly preserved and good-looking. I recommend a visit. Unfortunately, there were no signs that tell a little more about the mosque.

Few steps from the centre and monument of independence a nice mosque from second half of the 16th century. It is one of hthe few who survived the communist era, when Albania was officially declared to be an atheist state and a lot of churches of all religions were destroyed. It consists of a prayer hall and a minaret IUt is attributed to Sinan, an architect of Albanian origin who was important mosque builder in turkish Ottoman Empire. Nice place to visit. .

Ottoman style mosque, built in the middle of the town center.
It is normally the meeting point for visitors and tourists.

Beware of strangers approaching you at the block!
