It's a good religious site for those who like some adventure and physical activity. One has to climb some 600 steps to reach to the temple which is inside a cave. Definitely a good place to be at for youngsters and physically fit.

You get a bird's eye view of the city from above the temple. It is situated 3 kilometers from the main town of Mount Abu. The inner shrine is reached by crawling a narrow cave. The whole temple is constructed of one huge solid piece of rock and is one of the best specimens of rock cut temples in India.

The Adhar Devi temple contains many beautiful statues, and those that make the effort to climb the stairs are rewarded with many picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and forests. The climb up to the Adhar Devi temple can be a difficult one so it is recommended that you wear appropriate clothing and footwear. You should not be turned off by this walk as the scenic views surrounding the temple and the wondrous beauty inside make this climb worth the effort

Nice temple! Feels refreshing on reaching the top after climbing around 250 stairs! Thick woods on the way! Beware of the Monkeys! Keep the kids away from the them as they tend to snatch food from you!

One has to climb around 400 stairs to reach the temple. Dedicated to Goddess Arbuda, this place is considered one of the 52 shakti peeths. Morning is good time to visit the temple but not very early morning as the place might be deserted that time.

Its one of the shaktipeeths so its all the more important. You have to climb a lot of steps to reach the temple at the hill top, its worth the effort. The entrance to the cave temple is very narrow and you have to crawl in. The view also from the hill top is fantastic. Must visit.

Jet privilege no. 175235955 Adhar in Sanskrit means tounge. This is one of the 52 shakti peeth situated in India. It is really divine place where you can feel loads of positive vibrations. One has to climb significant number of steps to reach the main temple. The main idol is situated in a small cave and one has to kneel done to reach there. Went there with my mom and Dad and really enjoyed it. Must watch in mount Abu.

the view from the temple is breathtaking ! whole of abu is visible !! the main temple is inside a cave where beautiful idol of goddess is placed, there is also another cave which is said to be first adobe of devi on abu !! It was just 10 steps above that was small cave and the power of goddess can be felt !!

Adhar Devi temple is located on a good height having a fleet of stairs counting up to around 400. but the climb is not a wastage of time and energy. You can get blessings of this Shakti Peeth (one out of the 52 Shakti Peeths of Goddess Durga,) Here her lips were fallen; hence it is called "Adhar" Devi. She is also Known by goddess Arbud Devi as she guards Mount Abu Which in Sanskrit is called Arbud Parvat. The scenic beauty of the city from that height is rally very inchanting. Must visit it on your Mt Abu Trip.
