The destination is average but the journey from choubatia to bhalu dam is worth travelling. Good 7-8 kms mixed terrain adds to the thrill.

To reach this place is bit tough as the road is very bad. There is nothing to see much. I will not recommend to go this place. There are lots of others place in Ranikhet where you can find many other things.

No one knows the route to Bhalu dam in the area. Few people told us about a horrible dirty trek going towards dam. No car can reach Bhalu dam.
