I did the 5-hour basic sea kayak training with Milena as instructor. She is an excellent teacher, very knowledgable, friendly, flexible, and passionate about kayaking. I highly recommend the training for anyone interested in learning more about sea kayaking!

We took a one-day course Level 1 Basic to learn the basics of kayaking and to be able to get up in the kayaks if we were to capsize m.m. It was a perfect course for us! We learned so much about paddling technique and got to practice getting in to the kayaks in all possible ways. Milena is a fantastic instructor knowledgeable, experienced with wonderful happy energy that inspires to paddle more. 😊
A very nice dag with wonderful scener, she also knows a lot about the archipelago and its history which she happily shared.
We have already booked the next paddling trip with Skärgårdens Kanotcenter!

As a family (parents and two youth, 19/21yrs) we hired two double canoes for 1-3 hours (self guided) option, booking online. All straightforward. Arrived to a friendly welcome, helpful briefing of potential routes and we set off. Just loved the experience, sailing through small channels and open waters, stopping a couple of times on some of the islands, beautiful scenery. Fortunate to have good weather and relatively calm day. On return, we did have to quickly wipe the boats down, but personally not a problem to us ( we had used them!) . Really enjoyable experience.

Arrived by public transport ( 670 bus) right outside the venue, from Stockholm where we were staying, using SL app which provided us with route. Really easy.

Thanks for a fantastic, fun afternoon experience!

Teresa was an amazing guide - very helpful, friendly, with many travel tips & facts about Sweden. We were lucky to have good kayaking conditions, and it was just so beautiful despite it being winter. The kayaking centre is really easy to get to via public transport & I would highly recommend this kayak tour to anyone visiting Sweden in the winter or summertime. The sauna afterwards was also a great way to finish off the day!

We took a 7-day trip in July from France: 2 couples (2x K2) and a 13-year-old (K1). It was an amazing experience with superb scenery. However, the weather conditions were not always ideal (fog, wind, rain). Just Breton weather! But the sunshine soon made up for these inconveniences. I'd particularly like to thank Kanotcenter: organizing our trip (booking, payment, email exchanges) was very easy: thank you Maëli! ; the equipment (kayaks and Premium pack for the bivouacs) was excellent (very comfortable, warm, safe...); the briefing at the start (thanks Teresa!!) was just perfect (in French !!) and very relevant to our expectations.
We were amazed at the freedom we had to go...wherever we wanted. Bivouac anywhere, what a luxury!
On the downside, I'm an experienced kayaker. Multi-day excursions require a bit of kayaking experience, including in uncomfortable conditions: wind, rain, waves. You also need to be used to navigating with a map and compass (but that's what's so great about this experience!) and have a group ready to help each other, especially in difficult moments (fatigue, sudden fog, etc.). But it's still a very accessible adventure, because you're never far from civilization (the islands are rarely very far from each other). We were virtually self-sufficient in food. We were right to do so, even if it is possible to stock up from time to time on certain islands. It's also easy to stock up on water.
We'll be back! But this time, I'd like to try some of the offshore islands to see some seals.

We did a half-day kayaking tour with Fika through the Stockholm Archipelago. We have been only a small group of three people/two kayaks and our guide. We were all quite unexperienced in kayaking. The guide did a very nice job making us feeling safe with the kayaks. She provided us with a very nice tour and explained the Archipelago nature very well. Also she brought many Swedish specialties for our Fika (Swedish coffee break) which we had on a small uninhabited island. She shared many personal experiences from her various tours with us and made us feel comfortable. Overall, it was a very pleasant and great experience!

I had an amazing experience on the kayaking and t-rescue training for beginners. Milena is such a great guide with lot of experience and patience in training. Due to her encouragement, I was even able to try the t-rescue myself in the sea.

The waters around Vaxholm is calm, sheltered and perfect for beginners as well as advanced kayakers, while the islands around offer a breathtaking view from multiple vantage points. The training was extremely thorough and genuinely helped me learn a lot, while the fika afterwards was so much fun. It was absolutely worth it!

So we decided to go for a 5-day self guided kayak tour in the Archipelago. Looking around on the internet and trip advisor, there are several organisation that offer it - but the fair price and the positive reviews convinced us to go with Milena and Andrew.

Now, back from our trip, we can only say that the all positive reviews are 100% true. I had a great communication with Milena & Andrew, they were very accomodating with helping out on all our questions and being flexible during this Corona-period. At their lovely kayak center they explained very thoroughly the possible trips we could do, and they helped us with the gear and providing some real coffee before we departed on our trip.

When we returned they were awaiting us with a big smile and coffee, and we talked about our trip. We also booked the sauna - so once the coffee was finished we had the chance to relax, look over the water and think about the amazing 5 days we spend on the water.

So don't doubt - book with Milena & Andrew.

We were extremely lucky to have found Kenneth's Kanu/Kayak centre to help organize an amazing kayak camping trip within the Stockhol archipelago. It's easy to reach from Stockholm by Bus and the centre is right next to the Engard Bus stop. Kenneth not only provided us with a great, stable kayak but also with priceless recommendations for a fun 5 day tour. We slept in our own tent on beautiful deserted islands (such as Tisterön) and also had a short stay at a hotel on Grinda. I highly recommend anyone who wants to do a daytrip or a longer tour by kayak to contact the Skärgårdens kanotcenter. You won't regret it! We had an amazing time.
