Khalanga Safaris is a licensed provider of tailor made and of packaged tours, transfers and safaris in Limpopo and Kruger National Park. As a permitted OSV operator with own vehicles, Khalanga Safaris combines high service standards with expert knowledge and a profound understanding of nature to create an unforgettable safari experience. We offer safari packages and combined tours that include cultural and culinary experiences as well as scenic excursions in the region. Our pre-packaged tours are an easy option for our guests to experience Africa without the hassle of planning the details of their holiday; all while maintaining a sense of adventure with our camping options and sleepovers in the bush. However, if you do have any special requirements let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes from dietary requirements to itinerary adaptations or accommodation preferences.

We booked Khalanga Safaris for Safaris 6 nights in Kruger Park, two nights in Skukuza, two nights in Lower Sabie, one night in Crocodile Bridge and one night Pretoriuskop rest Camp. Everything organized directly through Johanna working at Khalanga. Our guide Shoes drived the safaricar and lived in the same camp as us. We was up early in the morning and did full day safari. Someday Shoes prepared lunch and dinner for us (welltasted) and some day we ate ourselves at the restcamp. This time of year Kruger is very beautiful, and not dry, so everywhere it was green and with different landscape, birds singing, so fantastic! Its our first trip to Kruger so we decided to go with a safaricar instead of driving ourselves.and i think it was a good desition. Our guide Shoes is very nice and he has worked as a guide for 30 Years and have good eyes discover animals and birds.He is even a birder. We did see Lions 4 times, and three times by ourselves. We did see Leopards 4 times and even Wild Dogs.And of we did see the Big Five and many more. We were lucky to book Khalanga Safaris and we enyojed Shoes company and skills In Kruger National Park. Thanks !

We were sooo glad that we booked the tour with the very experienced guide Shoes! He will not only guide you to the best spots, but also gives you educational input to the animals and their habitats. Due to the communications between all the guides, we had the opportunity to see the rare seen animals like the white Lion! We did the Next day-tour on our own, but we did not see as much as with Shoes. Funny and very nice guy!! Thank you very much! 5 Stars ***** from Anne & Max

We spent three nights in Kruger Park with Khalanga Safaris. It was absolutely fantastic. We got wind, we got rain, we got sun. We enjoyed the different places, the food and the service. It was easy to book and the owners are very attentive and friendly! Thank you Johanna and Shoes!
We think we had the best guide in the entire park. Donald is outstanding. He always does the little extra. He tells you about the animals, he tells you about the plants and he shares personal stories. He drives the extra mile so that you really get out the maximum of your trip. Donald was a very safe driver and a good chef. Thank you so much Donald and Khalanga Safaris! Highly recommended!

Shoes is an abolute professional. This was clear from the first minute we met him.
He picked us up in our lodge and after a drive of one hour we arrived at Ophan Gate / Kruger N.P.
Every meter of the safari was excellent. Shoes showed us everything. He saw all the big and the small animals in the parks. He has an outstanding knowledge about birds, mammals and landscape of Kruger.
He operates a small family company and it was very clear that he is his own boss who wants to make his customers happy.

A safari of 5 unforgettable days. We have seen and done so much. From the Blyde canyon to almost every point of the Kruger Park. The big five is not difficult to find with Khalanga safaris. Shoes always knows how to find the beautiful spots for the sunsets!
At the end of the day shoes cooked for us, we got traditional south african dishes and were delicious. Certainly the breakfast was very extensive.
In summary, if you want to do a safari without worrying about safety, food, Big 5 then Khalanga Safaris is the best option!

Our family of 5 chose Khalanga for our 5-day safari in late June. We had a fabulous time! Shoes and Johanna took my requests and created a great trip for us. We learned a lot, laughed a lot and ate well (meals cooked by Shoes and some lunches in the rest camps) . Our group had a great time together. We saw lots of animals and Shoes helped us ID plenty of birds. Chose Khalanga for your trip to the Kruger area! They will design a trip to fit your interests and budget. Our tour started and ended at the Hoespruit airport. Khalanga organized everything else- Shoes picked us up at the airport and our safari began. We stayed at Olifants Camp, Talamati Bush Camp and enjoyed a boat cruise on The Blyde River Canyon. We have great photos and memories from our trip!

Leopard day one just beside the car. Well that was a great start and it just got better and better. We had an amazing 5 nights in Kruger with Khalanga (Donald was our guide). It was our second trip but this time with friends not family. Our friends who had not been to SA before were blown away. Our guide was friendly, funny, professional. A truly affordable and amazing trip. So blessed to have been able to experience it again. We love these guys.

We had a great 2 day Safari trip with Khalanga! Our tour guide Donald took the time and explained a lot regarding the wildlife at Kruger. We saw many animals and almost the complete big 5. Our recommendation is

We were 6 friends, 3 couples. Everything went smoothly, from the first contact when we got the explanation of the tour. Shoes listened to our specific request for a wedding anniversary and responded perfectly. Great communication before and during the tour.
Unfortunately Shoes was not available for personal reason but a friend of him, Donald, took extra care of us and we had a wonderful time.
I highly recommend taking a tour with Khalanga and big thank to Donald who made sure to make our experience and trip a thing to be remembered.

During my 4-day game drive at Kruger National Park, I had the privilege of embarking on the journey with Khalanga Safaris as my guide. Despite being the only tourist at that time, they still accommodated my trip all the way from Germany, as the borders had recently opened, resulting in fewer tourists around. This unique circumstance allowed me to have the entire trip to myself.
Shoes, my exceptional guide from Khalanga Safaris, proved to be incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife and the surrounding countryside. He skillfully tracked down hidden animals, making sure I had numerous opportunities to capture captivating pictures, especially in busy spots where lions and leopards were spotted. This experience marked my first adventure with Khalanga Safaris, but it definitely won't be my last.
