Raja Ampat is the Earth's center of marine biodiversity and the incredible scuba diving reflects this. Lots of encounters from pygmy seahorses to huge manta rays. There are strong currents so I would not recommend this area for beginning divers. I have dived RA three...More

Raja Ampat is Epic! The diving was amazing! Big things and small things to see. Thousands of fish every dive like you are in a big aquarium. Scenery is beautiful with the sun at all stages like sunrise, midday and sunset. Loved it soooo much!

Second visit to Raja Ampat but this time to Piaynemo area only. Good snorkeling spots in yenbuba, beautiful colorful coral reef. If you are into diving Raja Ampat is best diving spots. Beautiful scenery as well.

If you have your own gear, I would take it. You don't know what the rental gear will be like. That being said, you can definitely rent if it's easier. They will have everything you need.
