Not open every day so check first but a good view for local history, definitely worth a look if your a visitor to Sax or just passing through, whilst... More

The hotel the Bell told use about the museum, plus they had an information sheet. Lots to see and local people there to answer questions.

Brilliant display of everything to do with Sax and its surrounding area. Loved the military bits and bobs as well as the shop fronts. Went for 30 minutes and came out nearly two hours later!

Wonderful local museum by the north entrance of the high street. Friendly local volunteers welcome you with enthusiasm. Very well done throughout including the special exhibitions. This museum is an amazing surprise. The content and the street scene is as good as any. Admission is free and the townsfolk take great pride in their own museum. Pop in for a quick visit or stay and browse the historic pictures on the touch screen display. Stay for a chat and you may be offered a coffee! There... More

The place was amazing, it just kept going further and further back with more and more curios. A great way to spend the odd hour finding out about the town and it's prominent citizens over the years,.

This is a small local museum in Saxmunddham High Street that is rather decieving from the outside because it is a bit of a Tardis inside. They have a mini cinema set up although at the time of my visit nothing was available to see. There are several interactive displays and various other displays of local history. It is on... More
