A really straightforward museum with sime good videos of the techniques of glass production that are often simply staggering The contemporary show is fun and a good complement to the history. The associated shop and next door outlet have some great little pieces quite inexpensive. Recommended

It was interesting to learn something of the history of glass making and see some of the amazing exhibits from past centuries. Some truly delicate looking pieces! My only criticism is that it would have been nice if there had been a bit more information provided about the individual items on display. We would recommend this attraction though!

Really enjoyed my time at the museo del Vetro. They have an amazing overview of the history of glass. Really like the old but especially the new glass art. Amazing to see what craftsman can do with glass. When you visit the island of Murano the Museo del Vetro is a must visit.

Well laid out. Story of glass making on the boards as you go through the rooms. Amazing pieces to view from past centuries as well as current. Well worth an hour.

I was first not sure if I wanna pay 10,00 euro entrance to see more glass, after seeimgvso much on the streets (many shops are very much worth a visit, mainly those of specific artists) - am very happy I went in, it's great, well done, has spectacular objects and most of all a nice journey from traditional and historical... The quality and quantity of Murano glass on display qualifies this as a 5. It's wheelchair friendly, with a lift and big, open spaces that would be easy to navigate and the decor, for the most, was minimalist to let the pieces shine. I didn't check out the individual admission price as we used the fantastic value Venezia Unica museum... More

The visit to the Glass museum was lovely. The staff were amazing. Due to my husband being a wheel chair user they wouldn't take any entrance money from me and the lockers for bags were free too. A member of staff took us to the lift and told us where to go. The story of Murano glass from Roman times... More

10 Euro to enter and it is quite a boring museum. Lots of glass but little that was amazing. No sense of a historic timeline. A couple of glass blowing videos but no commentary. Good toilets. In and out in 15 mins.
