Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We booked a five-day safari from Mwanza to Arusha. It took us through the Serengeti, Ngogongoro Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park. This was a wonderful experience with the different landscapes and the many animal sightings. Everything went smoothly and we were completely thrilled. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. The overnight stay in the tented camp with the lion roaring directly in front of the tent was very impressive. We can recommend Kiroyera Tours 100%.
Many thanks to Mary for organising this trip.

Kiroyera Tours Are fantastic: For me personally it was a big dream to visit Tanzania, because my grand grandfather was leaving here as a cow farmer in a small village in the near of bukoba. After we wrote Mary (director of the company), were he lived, she planed everything for use with so much passion to make people feel home. She showed use bukoba, a nice naturside with waterfalls and especially the village of my grand grandfather with a Tourguide who are living in this village. It was so much more then we are expected and we are so thankful to had nice conversation with Mary & the people outside from the touristic places (the real Tanzania). We felt every minute safe and welcome. If you are traveling to Tanzania you have to book by Kiroyera Tours. Thanks Mary and your Kollegs.

A big thank you to Mary Kalikawe and team at Kiroyera tours. I was in Dar es Salaam for work and Mary helped me book a same day last minute city tour on a Sunday afternoon - Dennis Kahwa and Emmanuel Joseph Nkuni were amazing guides showing me all the sites in a few hours and teaching me all about Tanzania. Mary also helped me arrange a great day in Zanzibar when I had an unexpected free day - despite being 11p at night she organized a great driver (Yusuph Hire) and tour for the next morning - I was able to visit Stone Town, a spice farm and a have beautiful lunch at The Rock - getting me back in time for my afternoon flight. I highly recommend Kiroyera tours based on my experience!

Kiroyera tours is simply the best. We were treated like royalty. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was fantastic. Our tour guide Jackson is one of the tour guides we have experienced as a family. He swam with our boys in lake Victoria which was an experience they'll never forget. This was indeed a five star experience. Looking forward to do this again. Mutashobya family.

We took a bird watching tour from Bukoba into Minziro forest. Everything during our day was well organised, including snacks, drinks and lunch on the way. We had a friendly driver/tour guide and two knowledgeable bird guides accompanying us. Kiroyera can offer you a tour any way you want it. In our case we combined bird watching with a visit to the Mugana rock paintings, which are also worth seeing, in a one day tour.

We flew into Dar on a rainy day with our 2 kids, 2 and 5. en route to Bukoba! Kiroyera Tours guides were amazing!! Friendly, extra accommodating and most of all professional!, my kids loved being around them! they reassured us of all of our bookings and catered to all our highly demanding kids.

The customer service is unsurpassed! I highly recommend Kiroyera Tours for ALL Tanzania tour experiences. The Rubondo national park tour was sooo amazing! I have definitely fulfilled by bucket list on this!
I highly recommend this woman owned company in the region!

We did a lovely day trip in Bukoba as well as booking a safari through kiroyera. The day trip was lovely, we hiked up the escarpment and saw a waterfall with Mr Supa and Jackson. Mr Supa had lots of great info as he grew up in this village. Then we had lunch at the tour agency manager Mary's house. Amazing lunch and hospitality! It was really nice to visit their village and homes. The safari was great too, kiroyera booked our flight to Mwanza and we got picked up directly from the airport to start the safari. The safari was run by Massaman. They weren't the friendliest, but everything was well organized. My only criticism was that the day tour option's weren't layed out so that you could easily decide what you might like to do. Also the prices for the trips wasn't really clear and took some time and phone calls to identify. Would recommend using them!

Me and my mum went to Robundo island with Kiroyera tours in early March 2017. The staff at Kiroyera were very friendly and helpful and made their best to ensure us three days with wonderful nature, cool animals and great food and accomodation! I can imagine they are doing great tours to other destinations to :) I can strongly recommend this travel agency :)

The stuff is very helpful, kind, loving and efficient. I learned doesn't need to have a big office it's how you utilize professional expertise to deliver the best beyond expectations. The whole tour package was fantastic I even wish I could have more extra days in Tanzania. The service was exceptional and am planning one more trip.

First of all, this tour was arranged by a friend of mine on an Oceana Nautica cruise ship. I was lucky enough to be included with Marius Mwijage (our head guide) and our second guide, Christian. They were both professional and we enjoyed an approximately 6-7 hour bus tour of famous sites in Dar, a choice of restaurants on the water, plus gorgeous fabric shopping stops and ended with cultural village stop with original tribal dancing and museum of Indigenous homes. Marius went out of his way, while accommodating our group, to get in a taxi with me, so I could end the tour by meeting relatives of my roommate in Seattle’s , Aunt and uncle. He was so knowledgeable about his country/city/safari tours. I would not hesitate to recommend this Kiroyera Tour company or Marius to any visitor to Tanzania.
