Have always seen the signs for margam park but never ventured over from cardiff. On a beautiful sunny, crisp winter morning we were thinking of an outdoor place to take our 5 and 2 year old and remembered margam! Firstly it cost us £4.95 and £1.50 for a bag of duck feed but for a family of 4 we certainly... More

A 19th century Tudor Style Gothic Mansion; an 18th Century Orangery; ruins from a 12th century Cistercian Monastery; a Welsh Tree-Top Adventure activity... all situated in around 850 acres of parkland. There's plenty to do and see of all ages. Margam Park is an absolute beauty, tucked away in the industrial town of Port Talbot. Easily accessible from the M4... More

Visited with friends between Christmas and New Year for a walk. ..wow just £4.99 to park the car. ..the park offers facilities for all the family. The Orangery, Castle, Church, Abbey Ruins, Discovery Centre, Go Ape, Lakes and walks are all amazing. Unfortunately the coffee shop and gift shop was closed at this time. ..

Although I have always lived in South Wales, I had never visited this country park. I was so surprised as the idea of there being such a beautiful place in the industrialised area of Port Talbot never occurred to me. I first visited it in November and was bowled over by the beauty. A friendly local couple walking their dog... More

A very pleasant place to walk around. Small farm animal exhibit for the kids. Nice grounds and gardens. Frequently there are additional events on as well.

A very nice event for the children. It was lovely to see the reindeers being fed and the location was really impressive.

I have been coming here since I was a child and have always enjoyed the park throughout all stages of my life. The walks are beautiful and scenic and of course the interesting periodic Manor Home. My niece and nephew love Fairytale land and I used to visit it as I child and loved it then. Theres a lovely little... More

This was our first deer sighting up close at Margam Park. Its was an amazing family day out. Visiting the village park, Margam farm animals & to top it off we were within 100m of seeing red stag deers. Truly amazing experience! Highly recommend taking family for day out at this wonderful park!
