The Baked Bean Museum of Excellence needs to seen to be believed. Captain Beany opened his doors (and his heart) to us, and we will forever be greatful - especially for the beany goodies!

Captain Beany is a delightful, larger-than-life character, and an incredible storyteller that will have your face hurting from laughter. My friends and I stayed well beyond the recommended time and loved every minute. His eclectic assortment of baked bean memorabilia from around the world is as remarkable as it is tasty.

Expect wild stories, photo opportunities, puns, and fart jokes in abundance. Not to be missed!

p.s. Good luck in the Swansea Half Marathon today, Captain Beany!

Went with grandparents and it was a once in a lifetime experience. What makes it is Captainy Beany himself, he is a wonderful character and it was great to meet a person who is that passionate about helping others and beans 😊 He was great to speak to...expect a lot of puns and to be surprised about how much you didn't know about beans.

One thing I'd say: Trust Google maps about the location! It's a hidden gem that made me and my family laugh 😊 Set aside around an hour and a half to get the full experience!

Absolutely bonkers, but a laugh at every turn. Captain Beany is a complete legend with a ‘f*ck it, why not’ attitude to life, going against norms and raising loads of money on the way. Brilliant experience and would recommend a visit if you fancy something different.

A short detour on the way to Tenby, the whole zany experience was both uplifting and humbling. Captain Beany was, of course, non-stop but his dedication to raising money for good causes was a constant thread as were the various puns. Great fun!

What a nice chap who has done so much to raise money for so many charities over so many years. Complete fruit loop, but a nice chap none-the-less. Visit his museum as it’s a day you won’t forget in a hurry!

What a treat! Despite our embarrassingly aloof teenagers, Captain Beany was brilliant! Friendly and welcoming, very good at explaining what his museum was all about and wow what a lot of amazing baked bean-related stuff he has! Highly recommend this for anyone whose teenagers have a sense of humour! Or leave them outside and enjoy it all the more!!

Captain Beany made my day really special. I take my dog (lady) on holiday where ever I go . She accompanied me to Captain Beany home. The photos below show how well she enjoyed bean their as much as I. Every room was a eye opener with so much love & time spent with every room dedicated to beans in all shapes & sizes. Well done to a man who shows how to enjoy life in more ways than one bean well done to such a nice chap. Best wishes jan @ lady
