Interesting place to visit. Large free car park. Plenty of walking. Pubs, boats and birdlife. And of course lots of mud at low tide.

we went to visit because my partner wanted to see the renovated sea lock. Nice sunny day for a gentle walk by the canal with the attraction of sitting outside the pub by the lock.

found this after visiting the tiptree jam museum and tea room.it was beautiful sunny day and sat down and looked out to sea.

Walked here along the canal from Maldon .Very peaceful and the wildlife was interesting we saw a heron swans ducks etc and heard the cuckoo several times. Would have been fantastic on a sunny day

Had a lovely day , hiring a few boats for an hour with family and friends . Huge free car park ( alternate parking for a fee in the surrounding pubs ) Lovely staff and good food that was reasonably priced xx

Sorry for the late response, but if you go again walk along the sea wall to the Mill Beach Pub or a little further to the Mill Beach Caravan Park, its about 20 to 30 minutes walk but worth it. Both have a lovely little beach... More

Yes as no problem, your dog will love it, try walking along the sea wall towards the Mill Beach Pub (20 to 30 minutes) & if your really enjoy a walk continue towards Osea Island.(45 to 60 minutes) If you're really... More
