Stopped as I was driving by. Love the colours of the artwork, but not a lot to my personal taste which is a good thing considering the prices.

Cannot say enough positive things about these two. Tom and Peter make the drive worth it every time with their wonderful genuine love of people and stories, let alone their unique collection of cards, art and furniture. Do not miss this spectacular gallery.

This was an impulse stop one day when I was out for a drive. I could not resist buying three prints for gifts (or maybe I will keep them). Planning to go again with a few friends very soon. The artists are the owners and have an eclectic mix of paintings. I enjoyed a great chat with Tom as we... More

What a wonderful gallery to explore. Tom Alway and Peter Blais continue to create wildly colorful, whimsical and creative works that reflect this corner of the Maritimes. And their sense of humor alone makes a trip worthwhile. I love the latest print I bought, Lunenburg Chowder, which just nails what makes this seaside village such a special place.

We stopped in a a gray day and stepped into sunshine & colour. The art is so colourful. Both artists are very charming & welcoming. They have very different styles but both very talented.

This is not your run of the mill tourist art gallery. Peter and Tom are serious artists with a fun, whimsical edge to their art. Petite Rivière is not on the main road but is worth the detour just to see these two guys and their work.

From the moment we walked in and Peter greeted us, we knew we made the right decision to stop in. He explained to us who they were, how they got there and what we would find in the gallery. He let us walk around by ourselves while he stayed downstairs humming to the oldies music that was playing. Halfway through... More

The gallery is full of beautiful, colorful art, large and small pieces, something for everyone I would say.

We had planned a stop here and our host at Hearts Desire B & B in Mahone Bay said it was a must do. Peter was in and we had a wonderful time learning about the work he and his partner do. They had a showing of some other artists on the upper floor and that was a nice surprise.... More
