Really welcoming family business set near a spectacular but quiet beach. The rooms are large and clean and they serve authentic home cooked food every night.
In the day the surfing classes are great fun. I'd recommend to anyone and hope I'll be back again.

For a couple of days, we spent some of our most beautiful holidays. We wanted to surf and to relax. And we found a place like paradise. A long beautiful long sandy beach, boutique style hotel room at Villa Aljana, local healthy food, wonderful and lovely hosts (Lisa and Fayçal, who speak also French, English, German) and fun hours in the sea trying to surf. Everything from airport pick up, to surfing lessons, to breakfast, lunch and dinner was perfectly organized. Besides surfing we enjoyed a peaceful time, sun sets, time to walk, read and relax. We will come back!

We had a very nice and relaxed surf week while staying at the wonderful Villa Aljana. The family (including Rex) makes you feel welcome almost immediately and everything was well arranged. Surfing without crowds in a beautiful setting was more than delightful. We really hope to be back once. Thanks for the experience Lisa and Faycal!

I spend a wonderful week there. The Villa is a wonderful piece of heaven. Designed in a Moroccan style, very cosy, very clean! A very welcoming space to drop your Stress surrounded by the beautiful nature of Morocco. The stuff is very cautious and the owner Lisa and Faysal make this place a very warm, welcoming and family like spot! The food was amazing! All fresh and very good prepared!
I had the pleasure to spend my week with surfing lessons together with Faysal. He is very nice and a really good coach. I would highly recommend this place for relaxing, surfing, kiting etc! I’ll definitely go there again!

Lisa, Fayçal and little Noham were the sweetest and most welcoming hosts we could ever dream of! Dancing the Waves in House Aljana (means Paradise!) is The place to go for a quiet and peaceful retreat, wonderful uncrowded beach away from the tourists. Maroccan food at its best thanks to the best berbere cooks in the village. We stayed with our 3 active children and even if the waves weren't that big at that period, we could enjoy kitesurfing lessons by Fayçal and local surf spots...But we won't say more as Dancing the Waves should remain our secret spot from Marocco!

Lisa and Fayçal are the nicest and most welcoming persons I have met. Their house is absolutely standing, beautiful, peaceful and in the middle of nature. Their team are the sweetest and the food is bio, homemade and delicious. Fayçal is a great surf teacher, patiente and funny. Staying at Dancing the waves is the perfect place to relax and to recharge! Thanks a lot for everything, can't wait to be back <3

If you are looking for unspoiled location with stunning ocean views, miles of wild beaches with no one in it, perfect waves, freshest fish straight out of the boat, fabulous villa accommodation and delicious food... look no further, Dancing the Waves is your place to go!

This is no touristy spot, there is no night life, no shopping and nothing your conventional holiday destination would offer you. If you want civilisation, go elsewhere. If you are looking for cheap end of the deal for backpacking, also look elsewhere, this is not a backpacker hostel/hash smoking hipster lodge.

Dancing the waves in Tafedna offers piece, quite, wild nature and boutique style accommodation with, eye-candy sunsets, a dash of family coziness, enough personal attention and mind blowing homey Moroccan cooking!

I know I will be back :)
