Not much to see, very modest architecture. Atacama has so much to offer that this Campanario, as well as the church, is worth only a few minute stop, not more. Two star only for sympathy, probably worth only one.
I guess most people will visit on a quick stop to or from the salt lakes with the flamingos. There is a pleasant little church with a separate bell tower, a nice square and a number of little shops with local craft goods. Pick up...More
This little city is a nice midpoint to the Flamingo reserve. We stopped on a shop that had a cute little llama. Bathrooms you must pay one USD to use. Not that exciting but if you have kids it's a good place to stop.
This bell tower with its peeling paint stands in the charming plaza of this little village. It's nice to take a stroll, visit the thatched-roof church behind it, and explore the little plaza. There are a few souvenir shops nearby.
