Great place to visit. our guide was wonderful and took us off the beaten path. Beautifully preserved and lots of history. be sure to see the fountain in the middle of the garden. And check out the restaurant. Wonderful!

I really enjoyed our morning at this working monastery (despite somehow becoming locked in when the monks started cleaning - swift escape through the fire door). It is a very tranquil setting and certainly wasn't to 'touristy' when we went in May.

We visited as part of a group tour of Catalonia. Monsa was our official guide, she was very interesting, easy to understand and easy to listen to. No lecture involved just information on the history, lifestyle and architecture of the monastery. A nice gift shop...More

We had a guided tour which was interesting. There were lots of areas to explore and worth a visit if you are in Poblet.

After the cathedrals of Burgos, Salamanca and Segovia, the monastery abd church are a real treat. Modest, beautiful, peaceful! Go and visit it!

We were fortunate to have a private tour by the mayor of mount blanc and the abbot. The tour was exceptional as was the history of th location. We were lucky to have this opportunity and I encourage all to visit.
