With the tide out, we walked across the sand and had fantastic views of the cliffs which extend far along the coast. The beach and rocks are incredibly clean with no debris from the busy Bristol Channel. If fact we saw starfish and sea urchins...More

Loved watching the tide ebb and flow here. Surfers in the water and kids playing in the sand at low tide. Safe fun beach and even better when the ice cream stand is open since there are no stores in southerndown so I was able...More

We stayed in Slade Cottages which were so peaceful and with beautiful gardens plus a walk through down to the beach. Recommend these to anyone.
