Gifted artist who provided my daughter and me an amazing opportunity to create our own vases. He has a passion for his craft and clearly loves the life he is living. Thank you, Elaine and Sarah.. I am always happy when I hear how much fun people have when they come to the studio and make something. I love that line 'crafting a memory of your own." I might have to use that! :-) Best, David More

David and Elizabeth Jacobson are friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain different techniques and challenges of working with glass. It's obvious that David loves what he does and that shows in his work. We watched David blow a glass plate, which we'd never seen done before. What a treat! We also discussed various glass artisans and... More

Helene, Thank you so much for your excellent review. I really appreciate it. I'm glad it came across that I love what I do, because I certainly do. I'm looking forward to making Lynn's custom piece. And, of course, I'll have to tell John that he has two more VERY satisfied customers. More

What an amazing morning we had with David learning how to blow glass. We had preplanned this class for the whole family and it turned out to be a rainy morning, so what better day to do something inside and get some cooler weather on a day when you’re going to be near a 1000 degree furnace. David is a... More

Hi Christie, I'm really glad you and your whole family had such a good time. I know I did. And that furry friend, Willie the Golden Retriever, did, too. He enjoyed all of the attention! Thanks for giving all of this detail, too, as to what takes place. You have a very good memory. Let me know how the grandmothers... More

My husband and I had a memorable time. I enjoyed learning about the techniques of this amazing art. Having something that I made to bring home and show off is cool. It reminded me of back in the day making something out of clay to bring home for the family to admire:) I would recommend this activity highly and i... More

I went with my son, and we both had a great time! David was very friendly and informative. He answered all our questions and was very patient with my son who was a bit intimidated by the extreme heat of the ovens. Note that you cannot take your work with you the same day, as it needs to cool overnight... More

We found David's workshop after reading an article about him while vacationing in Maine last week. What a treat!! Not only was his work amazing, but he took time out to explain and even demonstrate to us how he makes his beautiful blown glass. We ended up purchasing 5 pieces. I hope to return someday in the future to attend... More

The drive to Montville was short but sweet, as it is surprisingly close to several scenic Maine towns we visited. We arrived early in the day and the studio was active.
