This stunning house and gardens is a fantastic attraction for not just keen gardeners! Although the gardens are stunning, it's a wonderful place to wonder and loose your thoughts and relax finished off with a spot of great quality lunch or coffee.

IMHO this garden is one of the top twenty gardens in the United Kingdom. Definitely a reference work with regard to room-gardening.

We visited recently on a lovely sunny afternoon. There is a good area for plant sales, just after the ticket office. The cafe looked nice, but we had already eaten. The gardens themselves are delightful. There are lots of little garden 'rooms' that inspire you...More

Nice concept but sadly in need of more tlc. Beds overplanted to the detrement of each plant, underwatered hence little flower. Coach parties take over the cafe and eat all the food, staff just cannot cope. Mentioned on Gardeners World program has only been detrimmental...More
