Spent a couple of hours here on Bank Holiday Monday. Really is a gem. Steeped in history and with some fabulous walks to enjoy. You can hire out bicycles, canoes and even boats. Parking all day is £1 and there is a really nice cafe....More

Lovely location for a visit. Great for dog walkers or just walkers. Plenty to see. Loads of parking available for a small charge. Woodland walks. Canalside walks.

Nearest railway stations are Abergavenny or Cwmbran, both about 5 or 6 miles away. Abergavenny is most convenient for either getting a taxi to come out to the Wharf, or for catching a bus. The X3 and X33 buses run every hour... More

Hi, As I used my own car not to sure, but did notice that the A4042 had the local buses running from Abergavenny and this stopped at the junction ,so a 10 minute walk from there.Really great place well worth the effort to... More
