We arrived on another glorious day and found an episode of Poldark being films and whilst certain areas were off limits it did not actually detract from the day and the family history was fascinating and totally unexpected.
The landscape created by Capability Brown provided some lovely views from the terrace around the house. Our walk through the woods and around the lake was curtailed by the filming of scenes for the next series of Poldark by the cascade and Doric Temple.
