We were made immediately welcome having booked ahead. The staff were attentive and food was fresh and great quality. A lovely pub with a really friendly atmosphere and more visits in order !

We broke our journey with an overnight stay at this old But welcoming inn. The room was comfortable and spotless and we had a good evening meal served by friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

Visited this pub whilst staying locally. We hadn't booked and they were busy but we were told to take a seat and they would squeeze us in. They did this with many people throughout the night and made room for everyone. The choice of food...More

We had a lovely evening meal here, all were pleased with their food. Love the fact that the decor hasn't been over-modernised as it is in keeping with the history of the place.
