Queues! They charge a fortune and seem incapable of getting enough people on s bank holiday to issue tickets. Have experienced this before too. But online before and you will be whisked through. Why don't they allow you to go online whilst queuing at full price

We visited the garden yesterday as part of a coach trip and were bowled over by the spectacular colours of the rhododendrons, azaleas etc. It was simply breathtaking at every turn. I am a keen horticulturalist and have visited many many gardens over the years but this one was so beautiful I felt quite moved. It is beautifully designed and... More

The gardens are beautiful radiant colours every which way you turn in April/May . I think a trip in Autumn would be nice to. We found the café very reasonable. If I had a complaint it would be that I would have liked to see the plants and trees details i.e. names and what type of species they were but,... More

Lovely place, such beauty. Sad about the cafe - obviously trying to get rid of yesterday's scones. I couldn't eat mine, it was turning to dust. When I mentioned (very nicely) that I felt they had given me yesterday's scone by mistake, absolutely no reaction. Won't bother again.

My visit 23.4.17 Rhododendrons and azaleas were out and spectacular. Admission was £10.45, I think 20% for dogs, and something like £4.50/4.95 for the hop on vehicle if you don't want to walk it all. I found walking quite tiring. Didn't use the little steam train - think that also is about £5 Lovely wooded road to the garden. On... More

Exbury Gardens Not brilliant for the wheelchair user too many gravel areas to cross, watched several people being dragged backwards in wheelchairs to enter and leave, and inside the gardens. They do offer a cart trip, but that means you are not independent to roam around. Great for dogs on a short lead. It was dog day today so discount... More

Okay, I'll admit it, we cheated. We took the buggy ride round. It's an extra £4.50 on top of an already expensive entrance price, but worth every penny. Firstly, everyone walking around the park gives you jealous looks because you know that they wish they were not walking but riding the buggy. Secondly, you get a knowledgeable guide to explain... Thank you so much for your comments and we were delighted to read that you had such a good time while you were here! The spring colour is looking stunning and the buggy is the perfect way to enjoy it all - especially as you can hop on and hop off to enjoy the beauty of the ponds and flowers!... More
