The person taking care of the place was very available and very kind. There is a small saxon (săsesc) museum. We could walk on the wall, visit the church, which unfortunately suffers from rain /flooding. The tower is easy to climb to.

What I enjoy most when I visit this kind of church is to climb the bell tower and see the surroundings from above. The view is breathtaking and it worths the effort of climbing the thick stairs.

Small museum, mostly photographs from recent history where you pay the 5 lei entry fee. The church and fortified walls are very much like others in the area, Biertan and the lovely Copse Mare., Excellent. Along with the largely restored interior, tall columns with arched...More
