Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Durign our island hopping tour in Coron, we visited Smith's beach. It was accidental - our boatman initially took us to a crowded beach,we said no, then he took us to this pristine beach where there were no tourists - ee loved it and we stayed on for 3 hours.
Smith's beach is a private beach and teh only peopel who live on the island is the native owner family. There is a charge of about 50 pesos per head to use it.
The waters were amazingly clear, for 2 hours we were the only tourists here, then another two people came.
The beach has a small sari sari store which has soft drinks, junk food, and Filipino dishes. There is a bahai cubo that you can use to sit and eat. The sand is soft powdery white, and the beach is shallow - you can walk in a few meters off shore and still be just hip deep in water.
If I were to visit Coron again, I will definitely come here.

I kayaked to Smith Beach from Siete Pecados over 6.5 hours of leisurely kayaking. When I got to the beach, I met the elders of the family that lived there and asked if I could stay overnight. I had a tent but ended up camping up on a flat rock.
The sunset is beautiful from this side of Coron Island, and the Tagbanwa family that live there were very friendly and shared stories and their breakfast with me. I only recommend couples or solo travelers to go here as it is a small beach. The fewer you are, the better.
Take your rubbish home with you, do the natives a favour.

We went there in January. 10-15 people on a very small beach. The beach was clean, water was clear. We saw a sea turtle not too far, and star fish along the shore.
Our only question is who brought cats and dogs to this very small beach/island?
They were starving, dehydrated and in bad condition. There are huge monitor lizards on the beach who can hunt them.
It was quite hard to watch. We thought Filipinos were good hearted people but the people who brought those cats and dogs there, and the ones who leave them here are awful (we had a private boat and asked our guide to bring them back to the city - he laughed and claimed they belonged to the island...).
If you go, don't hesitate to feed the poor animals and give them some water to help.
We wonder what happens to them when there are typhoons / bad weather and the island tour are cancelled.... not cool.

You can take lots of beautiful photos from this beach provided you don't get stuck with a lot of boats on the island, as it is a very small beach. The water is beautiful however there are animals around that are super dehydrated and hungry!
Not the best beach, but it's still super pretty!

Smith Beach to me was an ordinary white sand beach you see around Busuanga, however, if you're able to ride a kayak or small boat to the nearby Smith's Coral Garden - that's when you experience the lush corals and amazing marine life. We stayed hours there just hovering above the corals and enjoying everything we saw from rare corals to nudibranches.

imagine sitting inside a nipa hut, while sea breeze blew your hair. salt is definitely in the air. you have the limestone as your background...while you eat your lunch and savor the fresh catch of the day. that's what we did at smith beach.
we stopped by here to have our lunch. though, it has a limited seashore, still it's the best stopover that we've made. it has powdery white sand. the best of what i've seen.

Smith Beach is a small beach area where you can eat under their nipa huts. The sands were very fine and the beach was very clear. It was surrounded by rock formations and we also there huge chamelion and a squirrel which only means that the beach is still untouched. The beach has enough area to camp at night if you want. A great place to stop by and relax.

Sand is powdery white. Got to see and touch star fishes and my hubby saw a clown fish too. Best beach so far compared to Patar Bolinao, Puerto Del Sol Pangasinan, Batangas and Subic.
