Go by foot - cars not recommended. A good climb up from the sea front, but well worth it for the stunning views and impressive architecture.

Atmosphere of real Italy is here! Grottammare Alta is a tiny town on the hill with amazing views! And if you don't know what you prefer more, the beach or the mountains - it's for you!
If you want a nice place to stay, choose Grottamare instead of San Benedetto...It is finer, nicer and less touristic! We enjoyed our stay there perfectly, take a look at the old town on the mountain!
