This is down a side street and is worth a detour to see. It built in the two door entrance and square style of non conformist chapels of that era. It is old but the Gospel message is still relevant.

We had a look around the church in the week and went back for the Sunday service. It has an interesting Heritage background and gives some insight to local culture. The Sunday morning congregational service starts at 10:30am.

I was warmly welcomed as I entered the small and cosy church. It had a strong community feel with impromptu hymn singing and chatting amongst the congregation before the service started. The sermon was intelligent, thought-provoking, inspirational and fun. The Minister, Peter Thomas, was enthusiastic and genuine without being "happy- clappy" or stuffy. Hymns were joyous and uplifting, 2 great... More

A pleasant enough little building - if not particularly 'churchy' - on the outside ! Inside it be neat enough - all the usual 'trappings' - albeit on a human scale. The staff and the Minister in particular were pleasantly welcoming - even to us heathens ! Drinks (of a sober nature !) and snacks were available in a side... More

We visited this church on the day the Christmas Dicken's Festival was on. We found the church quaint, tiny and full of history with plaques around showing previous pastors who has given sermons there. Grassington is a lovely village with very friendly people and the church is situated in the heart of its congregation and is well worth a visit.

This little church is almost hidden away in Grassington. Looking fairly unremarkable from the outside, just come in to see some wonderful examples of stained glass windows. Outside, the small graveyard is quiet and peaceful, and full of history and much-loved locals. Come in for a service as a visitor, and you will be welcomed with open arms and a... More

Grassington Congregational Church is hidden away at the back of the village with a little graveyard full of history of past locals. The Reverend Peter is a kind man who is actively supportive of his community whether it be local festivals, children's after school clubs and getting to know his local people. Personally not enough know about how comforting it... More
