I booked this for my brother as a birthday present as he loves goats, and he was not disappointed. Both me and my brother are 19, and we found it very entertaining being with all the animals and finding out loads about the farm. The goat milking was very good, and it was funny interacting with the animals. We saw 1 week old calf’s as we were also shown around the farm. The people there were all lovely and welcoming, and we will definitely be back again! Also we bought some of the produce there and it’s all very tasty!

After realising how out of touch our London lives were with the countryside, we thought it would be a fun(ny) experience to milk some cows! When we googled the different opportunities the Milking Experience at Old Parsonage Farm on Dartington was the first thing to come up - coincidentally a farm that my great-grandfather managed back in the 1930s so everything happens for a reason! We got lucky with some spectacular weather as we explored the farm. First, we escorted the cows from the pasture to the milking parlour and were able to learn and ask lots of questions about the herd. We then got to see an 18th century cider press in action, as well as help milk the goats with the automated vacuum machines. You also get to try your own hand at a little teat-squeezing action! Finally we got to cuddle the goats, as well as new born calves which were absolutely adorable. John and his wife do a fantastic job and it was awesome to see the whole farm in action. It was obvious from the way that John passionately spoke about the farm that it was not just important to him to have an environmentally friendly and humane farm but also to help people to reconnect with the countryside. It was great to learn from and an added bonus was being able to sample some of the tasty & creative treats they produce! 100% recommend!

Booked a combination of activities including a tour of the goat milking pens and did goat yoga which was absolutely hilarious. Very educational and the guy doing the tours was very informative, friendly and personable. Tried the goats milk ice cream and normally I hate goat milk products (an acquired taste) but this was scrummy!

I took my Grandson and we had a fantastic 2 hours, looking round the farm, walking the cows to milk, watching milking and milking the goats ourselves. My Grandson had a wonderful time, very informative and friendly farmer.

I had a gift voucher for the milking experience and oh my god was it amazing. John is so knowledgeable and I asked a million questions and he answered all of them. It's an educational experience aswell as being fun. The best bit was going into the calf pen and having cuddle.
