FREE admission., you don't get that much. A great morning looking at the different displays very informative enjoyed ourselves. Then had a lovely lunch in the cafe.

Kirkleatham is a good free day out for the family there is plenty to do for the kids the museum is nice also the park and the cafe

What a marvellous museum! Lots of information in each section, particularly good display on the historian Gertrude Bell. Lots of little known facts about her colourful life and work- what a wonderful woman she must have been! Reading about her 'taste for arduous and dangerous...More

Lovely cafe and play park for the kids. Loved the Saxon Princess exhibition and nice selection of gifts at reasonable prices for the kids to spend their pocket money on.

This has something for every age group. Delights for every child old or young. A place you will want to visit over and over again

We worth visiting the owl centre so decided to pop in the museum. Very clean and good up keep and some very interesting things to see. Our son loved the dressing up clothes and they have activities on for the kids which is good. Free...More
