A hidden gem 10 minutes by gravel road off the route to the Cape. Fine white sand, crystal clear waters and schools of fish swimming between your legs. And a great surf break with the offshore breeze.

Lovely Bay with golden sand, large area with toilet facilities. Walked along beach for a short time and just enjoyed the sunshine, think it was a safe beach for swimming but not too sure, looked as though it was.

I was visiting on a Cape Reinga bus tour where we stopped to have lunch, so this was a flying stop and not really sufficient to do the beach justice. However, it's a pristine, clean beach with lovely waves and sea. It would be a...More

This was an unusual beach which we visited as a part of the harrisons cape reinga tour. Clear waters and almost white sand. We would have missed it otherwise. A must visit even when going by oneself.
