The presentation of the Coriolis effect was amazing. Some of the items are a little cheesy, but for the most part it is well done and educational. Guides are knowledgeable and friendly. Take your passport to get your zero latitude stamp.

This place is NOT the "middle of earth" because its placement is based on measurements done in the 1800's. It's touristy surrounding buildings are best avoided but the actual tower has some good exhibits on the floors on the way up to the observation platform....More

The history of this monument is interesting, but otherwise it is not worth a lengthy drive. We walked to it from Intinan Museum which was good planning on our guide's part. If you only have time to see one place, go to the Intinan Museum

It is $5 per person to enter. We had a great time reading all the information. There’s a lot to do here and we missed most of it due to inclement weather moving in the area. Great photos here! You can buy an egg for...More

Besides the fun photos (holding hands over the equator, etc), we enjoyed the cultural exhibits showing different cultures within Ecuador.

It was so special to be on the center of the world, take pictures, walking on the both sides of the yellow line, and taking more pictures. The area is lush with greenery, there are cafes, gift shops, restaurants, and at the top of the...More

We prefer AirBnB. Loads of beautiful apartments with security and close to restaurants, shops, and sites.
