This is like the old Costa Brava before it was destroyed by every brick building that could be placed on the land. Still feels very "villagy". Really great place to visit. Remember, its best to hire a car in Corfu, to explore at your leisure.

Shingle beach with good access, numerous traditional tavernas, mini supermarkets behind, bar slightly up the hill. Swimming across the bay is very pleasant, the water is clear and boyant. Very much recommend it.

Sorry only just seen this question. This is a pebble beach so no building sandcastles but if your driving there is a town just 4km away with a small beach.
