It is right in the middle of the road, cannot miss it, history behind is cool. Do stop on the side of the road to get your picturre taking.

Seriously, it is just a real old gate. Nothing special here. The gate is actually in the center of a traffic circle so you even have to time your pictures so the cars aren't so intrusive.

The gate is one of the last parts of Tarsus' ancient walls. It is the place where Cleopatra met Antonius. The present gate is believed to be built in the late Abbasid or Byzantine times.

Old stone remnants of historic gate in the middle of a main street. Pretty cool to look at. Be careful...make sure you negotiate your price to park if you use parking lot across the street,
