We spent most of our time in the city center. People were very welcoming. Visited several of the Christmas Markets. Ate at several traditional restaurants and visited the Castle. All fantastic!!

I can highly recommend driving the Nuerburgring! There are several quality car rental places where you can rent a motor vehicle, (prices depend on the vehicle rented). I would HIGHLY recommend that you hire an instructor because this is an unforgiving track with hairpin/blind turns with traffic racing behind you with only inches to spare, (and the fact that insurance... You have to go to the 'ring. I would suggest that anyone with red blood running through their veins will enjoy this attraction, though it can get very busy on open track evenings and days. The weather can be difficult too, though it was glorious when we were there. Aside from the track though, the scenery is wonderful.

This was the number one item on my bucket list and it did not disappoint. I went in a Diesel Mercedes rental car that was not fast and still very much loved it.

As a former F1 circuit, the Nordschleife is a demanding circuit that's accessible as a toll road. It's possible to drive it with your own car, but if you want to add to the fun big time, rent a race car locally. You do yourself a favour if you use a racing game on a console or computer to learn... More

Do you call yourself a motoring enthusiast? Then no doubt you've heard of the Nürburgring. But, for the avoidance of any doubt, it's the longest and most challenging test track on the planet. And it's open to the public. WHY is it not already on your bucket list? You can find all of the do's and don'ts and what to... More

I have to admit I was really nervous about driving the ring. The track obviously is legendary and I wanted to be safe but as does everyone else, fast as well. I would recommend based on my experience to take your time and get a feel for the track and just have fun. I was one of the slower vehicle... More
