Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a fascinating afternoon and well worth the trip to the town. An amazing way to experience local history, as told by the locals. Would also be a great time for steampunk buffs or anyone interested in mining or machinery.

A spectacular and raw museum of early Ural industrialisation. Here, hundreds of years of metallurgic activity speaks across the centuries of the geopolitical and economic importance of the Ural region as well as the evolution of metal production techniques in imperial and Soviet Russia.

This unique place by Russian standards, is quite on pair with the best industrial museums in England, but requires a guide to be fully understood as the factory compound, once the core and origin of the very city, is big and consists of centuries of overlapping industrial architecture. It includes very photogénique and imposing metallurgic machinery. English and French language written material is available, but call ahead to see if an English speaking guide could be arranged (probable) to really bring this formidable place alive.

Well worth the day-trip from Ekaterinburg, especially in combination with the leaning tower in Nevyansk.

As for me, an industrial history nerd, this was an absolute highlight of my trip to Russia.
