Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A local market , we stopped here on our way from Ulun Danu temple to Gitgit waterfalls, passing through strawberry farms. We had a few local fruits like Mangosteen, guava, and grapes.

Another place you can easily bypass. This is nothing more than dirty, crowded fruit stalls and a few vendors selling junk souvenirs.

I love Asian markets but this place left me a bit underwhelmed, the stall holders are just too loud and demanding, If you are looking for spices it's worth coming here otherwise for anything else you can easily get elsewhere and much more peacefully. We did buy some bananas and mangosteens which were nice.

The Island of Bali is lush green and you may find some fruits and vegetations here which you don’t get anywhere else in the world, While having full day Island tour in Bali, we were taken to visit Candi Kuning Fruit & Vegetable Market, though it is not a historical place or museum, yet it has worth watching you see beautiful (tasty too) fruits and sparking green vegetables here, which off course introduce you to the fertility of this beautiful Island. It has over 100 shops not only fresh fruits which you can buy and taste but dry fruits, traditional Balinese dresses, and local art crafts. I recommend a glass of fresh fruit juice here

We were looking for vanilla beans and stopped here for a quick look. The vendors at the front stalls got really excited and showed us two packets of tiny dried pods and quoted a really exorbitant price. They were looking for a quick kill and that was so off putting. We decided to have a look around and to our delight found a stall at the back row selling spices. The lady there had vanilla, fresh and dried beans as well as packets of vanilla seeds. She quoted us a fair price and we managed to bargain her down further. She even gave us a discount as we bought quite a few packets from her. Her other spices and herbs were also fresh and fragrant. We ended up spending nearly all our available cash here! We will definitely make a trip here on our next visit to Bali.

I went to this place to look for vanilla beans but now the price shoot up real high. Some stalls there are selling 1 vanilla bean normal size for 30k! Which is cut throat. Not recommended and they keep asking me how much I want to offer. Really hate this kind of bargaining. For those want to find vanilla beans in Bali the price now is super high I bought 1.5 million for 250g in Ubud market.

If you only have one opportunity to and are really determined to buy certain mass-produced 'traditional' clothing and souvenir items, then this place has the advantage of a lot of stuff thrown together. However:

The prices will be the highest you'll get quoted anywhere in Bali.
All the stuff that you can find here you'll find elsewhere, far cheaper.

A lady selling candlenuts wanted 150,000 for 300g. In any other market they're 50,000 a kilo! So basically she wanted 1000% of the going rate. Worse, she labelled them as macadamia nuts, which is highly irresponsible, since candlenuts are toxic if eaten raw. Other fruit items were similarly overpriced.

On the way to Lovina me and my Bali driver stopped at Candi Kuning Market for fruits and snacks. They served fresh fruits and cheap snacks. Everything was discounted after asking to low the price.
