About
Year-round activity company based in Abisko. In winter, we offer guided snowmobile tours, snowmobile rental and Fjäll Taxi in roadless country. We spend summer and autumn on our mountain trails on foot or on a mountain bike. Hiking packages on the Kungsleden and MTB packages in the Abisko / Narvik area. In late autumn, we turn off the headlights to look up at the sky after the Northern Lights. Welcome to us all year round!

We were lucky to book a snowmobile tour with Outback Abisko 🤍 Martina, Alex and Arina were very confident, since experienced professional guides and always tried to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
Because of weather conditions, they searched for a convenient location and drove us, even if it’s far away.
It was not only snowmobile tour, but also chasing an aurora with friendly atmosphere, hot drink and outstanding views. And all of us got unforgettable memories that evening)
I will definitely recommend you this tour.

We spent one week in Björkliden and we constantly looked for an opportunity to see the Northern Lights. We booked the snowmobile tour with Outback Abisko on the clear night with the forecasted strong solar activity. And we were extremely lucky! We enjoyed the snowmobile ride while watching the sky performance at its best. Outback Abisko offers professional services. The guide was really helpful and let us observe the sky as long as we wanted. We totally recommend Outback Abisko to enjoy your time in Lapland.

We had an amaaaaaazing experience with Åsa and Johanna, the best guides! 🌞 We started with safety instructions, before we started the ride. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! At the mountain-station Låktatjåkka, Åsa and Johanna bought us some waffles and coffee, tasted GOOD! We felt good taken care of, both adults and kids ❤️ We will be back!

Fantastic views and introduction to snowmobiling with a skilled and friendly guide who made for a safe and thrilling experience. Highly recommend.
The guide also leads excursions to svalbard and we hope to make a return trip in the future. Unfortunately we forgot to get her name at the end of the trip. She mentioned she adopted 2 retired sled dogs who we hope will join the svalbard adventure when we come back.

My group and I had a wonderful time snowmobiling with this company! Our guide, Martyna, was very friendly and personable. None of us have ever ridden a snowmobile before, however, we felt at ease after Martyna's instructions. She taught us everything we needed to know to safely ride on our own. We did the 2 hour tour where we got to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Abisko National Park. About halfway through, Martyna told us stories about the area while we snacked on some cookies and lingonberry tea. We had such a good time that we did not expect the tour to be over so fast. We definitely would have booked the 4 hour tour had we looked sooner. Since we had such a good experience, we decided after this tour to book their Night Sky Snowmobile Tour. We were happy to know that Martyna was going to be our guide again. She was very experienced in finding the northern lights. Were it not for her pointing it out to us, we would have never known that the northern lights were right above us! Our goal was to be able to see the northern lights at least once on our trip and Martyna made it happen! This experience was definitely a highlight of our trip! One other thing to mention - one person from our group ended up not being able to go due to a family emergency, and Outback Abisko was very understanding and issued us a refund for the ticket. Overall, this is a must do when in Abisko!

The two hour snowmobile trip in Abisko National Park was a highlight of our recent long weekend in Abisko to celebrate a 70th birthday. The snowmobiles were large and comfortable. The passenger had armrests and a backrest; the driver, heated handlebar grips. They were easy and fun to drive. With the sun shining on newly fallen powder snow and the wilderness of the National Park around us the whole experience was magical. We even saw 8 moose on our journey. Our guide, Äsa made the trip memorable. She was delightfully helpful and friendly . She patiently instructed us in driving the snowmobiles and stopped regularly through the trip to point out wildlife or geography or just to give us a warm drink and a biscuit. An absolute must do adventure.

2 Hours tour by snowmobile on the white, silent mountains … something more than a snowmobile tour, for the view and the experience ….really great !!!
Manuel and his brother explained as to drive the snowmobile but, if you don’t want to drive it, a driver is available.
They give you special suits and boots, gloves, helmets and special glasses. Available pick up service.
On the top of the mountain, a stop for an amazing view, cookies and hot tea.
I really suggest it !

Johanne was a fabulous guide, diligent instructor and attentive host. We explored the cold wintry hills on 600cc snowmobiles and did so safely and enjoyably, thanks to Johanne. Highly recommended.
