Wish I could give Peter and David 10 stars! After having to wait out the Covid years, this adventure was worth every minute of anticipation! David and Peter are the most caring, organised and delightful people you could meet. Everything was looked after, from accommodation and meals to locations and camera gear to professional advice and a helping hand when I fell in the snow! Very highly recommended.

We are still on a high after this tour. Like nothing else we have done before. The experiences with dog and reindeer sledding were fantastic with all day out in the landscape. David and Peter were meticulous in ensuring that we got the most out of the activities and photography opportunities. Peter knew all of those special places that other groups don't get to. The small group meant that we were able to move around easily. I'm sure we were the envy of others when we talked about the auroras we had seen. The accommodation, especially at Aurora Camp was top notch. Wilderness close to everything. David and Peter can turn any photography novice into a professional and improve the skills of those who are keen photographers. We can't thank David and Peter enough for the welcome, the friendship and their varied kindnesses.

This tour is amazing & organised by professional, caring & helpful people who couldn’t do enough for their clients. They worked super hard to ensure we experienced the aurora wherever possible & enjoyed all the other experiences on offer. They were always available with photographic assistance & provided the gear we needed to be comfortable in the cold conditions. The accommodation was great & the included meals were absolutely excellent. I would highly recommend this tour.

Peter and David are excellent coordinating and executing a brilliant winter adventure. We experienced multiple opportunities to view and photograph The Aurora Borealis as a group. They go the extra mile to provide a first class product. Each day brought different yet complementary activities. I learned a great deal as a photographer, enjoying the review of our photos together. All in all, a fabulous experience.

David and Peter put on a show equal to that of the magical Aurora filled nights. I enjoyed the critique sessions of the photos we took and the insights from these two pros as to how to make them better. I feel I am a better photographer from the time spent with David and Peter. Even if you are not a photographer and want to experience a different way of life, you will enjoy this trip. Each day brought its own uniqueness which made this trip special!

It is seriously difficult to highlight one part of this trip as being a favourite. The whole "experience" was absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed. Taking into consideration mother nature, I have to talk about just how hard both David and Peter worked to make our time together memorable. Nothing was too difficult and to say they pleased us, is an understatement. What utter professionals. An amazing week full of fantastic activities, great fun, cultural experiences, fabulous food and new photographic skills. Peter seriously was an "Aurora Whisperer" as we were treated to glorious locatons where the night lit up with dancing aurora to the delight of us all. Yes, it is cold, but the treat is in the sights and experiences. I cannot describe just how fantastic this week of my life has been. Thanks are not enough for both David and Peter for truly making this a spectacular experience. I'd seriously consider returning to do it all again and I don't say that lightly. I'm a traveller and I can honestly say this is one of the most memorable travel adventures I've ever enjoyed. A truly wonderful week of my life which will live with me for ever.

My wife, Sue and I just finished a wonderful winter photography tour of Lapland led by Peter Rosen and David Evans. Both Peter and David were generous in sharing their extensive knowledge, helping us improve our photgraphy and get better shots. While there is a focus on the aurara (which did not dissapoint), the winter landscapes and soft skies are simply stunning. They also provided some extra lenses (high quality) to help better capture photos in lower light and tripods, so no need to drag one with you from home. Being a local meant that Peter knew the area extremely well and where go to see stunning views. Experiencing reindeer and dog sledding was a little different but moving through the trees and snow with either the dogs or the reideer was very enjoyable and also provided the opportunity to learn a little of the local Sami culture. The outer clothes provided to us did the job extremely well and given that temps dropped to -30 C good clothes are a must. Great location, great teachers, good food and accommodation and great fellow travellers. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a photographic tour experience that can and does provide that WOW factor. It certainly did not disappoint and we loved the experience.

From the first time we enquired till the day we left Kiruna Sweden at the end of this amazing tour the experience was first class. Peter and David did everything and more to give us the best experiences from dog sledding, reindeer sledding, moose spotting and the most spectacular Aurora sightings. Add to that the magnificent scenery settings meant the resultant photos were nothing short of fantastic. Photography and editing tips, welcome suggestions whilst taking photos ensured we all got the best results we possibly could.
Whilst no one can ensure good weather, aurora experiences or moose sightings we were in the best hands to get the best opportunities and that we did.
Memorable - absolutely.

It was an amazing trip, an adventure, spectacular scenery start to finish. Peter Rosen and David Evans are professionals in everything they do.
The trip is well curated and no matter what your level is as a photographer you will come away with some amazing photographs and learnings.
Having a local photographer was also great as Peter knew where the best places were and so much about the environment, wild life and culture.
The places we were taken to photograph were spectacular. We were very lucky to have had the Aurora come out on numerous nights, across stunning landscapes. The accomodation and food also amazing an experience to really get to know local food and culture. Food was fabulous especially to get to know local dishes. During the day we were taken on adventures from rain dear sledding to husky sleds across frozen lakes and beautiful snow laden trees all around us, learning Sami Culture and sitting in a Lavvu having a traditional meal.. it was such an amazing experience.. one we will never forget. David and Peter were fantastic guides.. can't recommend this trip more highly

David & Peter were excellent tour guides. Both are accomplished in photography and excellent trainers, and even the most experienced photographers will learn a lot. The locations we stayed at, in Abisko & the Aurora Camp at Kiruna were well fitted out, warm and comfortable. The food at both locations was outstanding and far above what I expected.

We were kept busy and were able to achieve all of our goals of seeing the Aurora at least 3 times, going dog sledding both during the day and night, plus reindeer sledding. I have to admit I wasn’t the best on the Sled, but I still enjoyed it immensely. We also saw some moose in the wild and had many places where we just stopped at sensational locations for landscapes. We spent a few hours photographing ice sculptures made by waves crashing at the lake at Abisko and freezing in amazing formations. The Ice Hotel was something I thought would be a bit kitsch, but boy was I wrong. It’s like being in an art gallery made of ice. Having Peter living local means he knows all of the wonderful locations.

Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed my tour and would recommend it to anyone. Just be aware that it can be physically challenging for unfit people like me, but it won’t dampen your enjoyment.
