Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice place. The problem is that they don't give alternatives to those who just want to access the restaurant and eat the apfelstrider. We have been to the place countless times and there is no justification in seeing the rooms of the house again. It makes no sense to force visits. It should be optional. Anyone who wants to visit the museum must pay for access. Those who want to go to the restaurant can access the restaurant directly.

We always go to this place when we are on the lawn, because I love the strudel, but I noticed that there was a significant increase in the entrance fee, last year if I'm not mistaken the price for the museum was 9 reais; This year it went up to 20 reais. In this case, I only pay the entrance fee to go to the snack bar, as I already know the museum.... Now I want to report the lack of good service from the attendants, they are not friendly at all, I asked for a glass of house water for my daughter, She asked if it could be from the tap, and I asked her if they drank it from the tap. Surreal!! After that, I ordered my second strudel and the anata came very poorly served and I asked if it was normal, the waitress said it was like that and left... whereas my previous dish was a normal portion... anyway, I don't know if I'll be back again due to to the service!

I thought it was absurd to charge entry, because there you already pay $38.00 for an Apfelstrudel
Ten years ago there was no charge, now you pay $20.00 per person just to see 5 rooms.
It's not worth the trip.

Historic and very beautiful place. Curious, beautiful construction. Plenty of green area, stream, lake and accessory houses such as sawmills, monjolo, etc. The state of conservation of everything is exceptional and the ticket price is consistent with what is presented. It's a trip that's worth it.

What a nice place. I have visited before, but I don't remember if they were charging entry at the time. Anyway, always nice to visit this place. The little lady we attended inside the house was a love of person, sorry for not remembering the name. But it made our morning more tasty and pleasant. I intend to come back more often.

It is a renovated building, supposedly owned by one of the first immigrants. In practice there isn't much to see, it's just a snack bar and souvenir shop and so far there's nothing wrong with it. However, to enter and have a coffee or eat a strudel (supposedly famous), you need to pay a small fee of R$16.
In our case, we went back to the car and looked for another place. Pretty clueless.

The place is famous for the dessert served, but they decided that to enter and eat dessert you have to pay R$20 per person. Absurd. And look, the studel isn't anything out of this world that makes it worth paying admission to eat. I do not recommend.

It is a very old house located in Canela, on the side of the road. It really looks like a little castle, that's the reason for the name. It is so beautiful and they charge a symbolic fee to visit. A good option for those who want more affordable tours as everything in Gramado and Canela is overpriced

Nice place to go with family. The place is well ⁇ ined and has a space with nature around to be visited. The Castelinho Caracol is very beautiful. The tea house offers a delicious apfelstrudel, but has an exorbitant price for its size (38 reals).

We were prepared to enjoy Castelinho and its beauty without rushing. We arrived around 10:20, we were very well received by the girl at the reception who helped us with access to purchase the tickets that we purchased in advance on the website.
Everything is well maintained, organized, clean, it's difficult to leave.
You take a trip back to the time of the Franzen family.
At the restaurant we tried everything available on the menu as we wanted the full experience.
The Apfelstrudel with fresh cream is truly one of the best delicacies we've ever eaten, there's no way not to like it!
Apple tea is wonderful! The cheese bread is fluffy and very tasty too.
The mix tastes like grandma's house.
The Waffel is very crunchy, reminiscent of a biscuit and is served with red fruit and bergamot jam, the bergamot jam is divine! In fact, I bought two pots. 😍
The cheese waffle with bacon, the dough is softer and it comes served with honey (optional), it is delicious but I wouldn't eat it twice, I would prefer the Apfelstrudel.
The iced chocolate is fantastic!
The brigadeiro rocambole is very sweet and is for chocoholics out there.
The Makronen is delicious, we bought the cookies and came back eating since this delicacy is in the baskets with other delicacies.
Castelinho was one of the best experiences for our family and should be done without rushing.
Our tour ended at 2pm, we spent 3 hours and a few minutes there.
❤️❤️❤️
