It is difficult to know when this museum is open or where to park as it sits on one of the busiest corners in Pukekohe but having seen an advertisement advising open on a particular day prior to Xmas I walked down to have a look. Although this lovely cottage is only open twice a month, 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm. It is worth seeing how the early settlers had to survive. Makes you think how much we take for granted these days!!

Out shopping and saw cottage open. Appreciated how hard the women must have worked in those days. Well maintained in the park. Great new toilet in the immediate area, bonus!
